Dewi Bramono is responsible to drive and monitor the implementation of standards and global best practices that improve the sustainability of APP’s operations in Indonesia. She is a key contributor to the development of policies, guidelines and systems required to help the organization in achieving its sustainability goals throughout APP’s and its suppliers' operations. She also manages the implementation of APP's Forest Conservation Policy, launched in 2013, which includes commitments to zero deforestation and implementation of best management practices in peatland for carbon emission reduction across its pulpwood supply chain's operations in Indonesia. Ms. Bramono is also the Vice Chairman for the Executive Board for the Belantara Foundation. Belantara Foundation is an Indonesian not-for-profit organization that focuses its activities on ten fragile but critically important landscapes across the islands of Sumatra and Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo). From forest restoration to species conservation, and community development to sustainable agriculture, the foundation’s activities fit into a holistic approach that is defined by Sustainable Landscape Management practices. Ms. Bramono has BSc and MSc in engineering from Tufts University, USA, and an MBA degree from INSEAD, France & Singapore.
