Duncan Billing
Duncan Billing is global chief development officer at Hasbro, spearheading innovation for new brands and products and re-imagining long-time favorites.
Prior to assuming the role of chief development officer in 2007, Duncan Hasbro's chief marketing officer of U.S. Toys Brands, leveraging his 20-plus years of consumer marketing experience, predominantly in the toy and game arena.
He first joined Hasbro in 1988 as group director of sales and marketing for the UK subsidiary. He later transferred to the U.S., where he held a number of senior-level positions, managing many of the company's world-class brands, including My Little Pony, Tonka, GI Joe, Transformers and Nerf, among others. In 2001, he became general manager of Tiger Electronics in Chicago, which created and marketed highly successful toys such as Furby and Giga Pets.
He began his marketing career with Unilever in the U.K. and later joined Kenner Products, then part of the General Mills Toy Group, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in both Europe and the U.S. and managed highly successful brands, including Star Wars, Trivial Pursuit and Ghostbusters.
Duncan holds a bachelor of law undergraduate degree from the University of Southampton, U.K.
