A multilingual journalist with more than 15 years of experience, Gosia Wozniacka is based in Oregon. Wozniacka worked for five years as a staff reporter for The Associated Press in Fresno, California, and then in Portland, Oregon. She wrote extensively about agriculture, water, and other environmental issues, farmworkers and immigration policy. Prior to working at the AP, Wozniacka was the Immigration and Latino Affairs reporter for The Oregonian. Her writing has also appeared in The Dallas Morning News, The San Francisco Chronicle, Pacific Standard magazine, and Poland’s largest daily Gazeta Wyborcza, among others. In addition to reporting and writing, Wozniacka has worked as a journalism professor, nonfiction writing teacher, and writing coach/editor. Wozniacka co-runs a very small urban farm with her partner and dedicates her time to her son, her family, cooking and the outdoors.
