Jonah Sachs is an internationally recognized storyteller, author, marketer, designer and entrepreneur. He has helped hundreds of major brands and social causes break through using an empowerment marketing approach that fuses timeless storytelling techniques with digital media. For the past 16 years, under his leadership, Free Range Studios has brought key social issues to the attention of millions of people with renowned viral videos like The Meatrix and The Story of Stuff. The company has also delivered major brand storytelling and design projects for Autodesk, Microsoft, Greenpeace and the American Civil Liberties Union. His book, Winning the Story Wars (2012, Harvard Business Review Press) draws on case studies from his own body of work, as well as some of the most successful brands of all time, to show how values-driven stories are not only revolutionizing marketing, but represent humanity’s greatest hope for the future. It was named one of the American Marketing Association's top marketing books of 2013. Sachs and his work have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, FOX News, Sundance Film Festival, NPR, The Colbert Report, The Huffington Post and FastCompany Magazine, which named him one of the 50 most influential social innovators. Additionally, his work has received three “best of” awards from the SXSW Interactive festival.
