Kevin Brady is a management consultant and author whose work and writings focus on improving the sustainability performance of organizations and products. He was a founding partner of Five Winds International and is now director of Sustainable Enterprise Consulting.
Brady is the author or co-author of numerous reports and books including; Mapping the Journey: Strategies and Action toward Sustainable Development; Eco-efficiency: Global Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century; and Corporate Social Responsibility: Lessons Learned. Most recently, he has co-authored a three-part series of GreenBiz Reports on the current situation of retailer and consumer demands for products with positive environmental and social benefits. Brady is a guest lecturer on product life cycle strategies at the Sustainable Enterprise Academy and is well known for his leadership in the development of the ISO standards process on climate change and the ISO 14040 series of standards on life cycle assessment.
Prior to founding Five Winds International, Brady co-ordinated national and international activities related to product-oriented environmental policy and life cycle management for Canada's federal ministry. He has B.Sc. Biology from the University of Victoria, and Masters of Environmental Studies from York University, Toronto.
