Marshall Chase is associate of advisory services at BSR.
Marshall brings over 15 years of sustainable business experience to lead BSR’s work with automotive, aerospace, and diversified industrial companies. He leads climate strategy development, supply chain sustainability assessments, and program implementation work with some of the world's leading manufacturing, information technology, and transportation companies. Prior to joining BSR, Marshall led the development of business services and partnerships at the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia, and managed environmental initiatives for major real estate companies in the Washington, D.C. area. He also has experience in sustainable business development as a Peace Corps Volunteer and consultant in West Africa. Marshall holds an M.B.A. and M.S. in Corporate Strategy and Sustainable Enterprise from the University of Michigan's Erb Institute, and a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
With meat production expected to double by 2050 and methane from cows contributing a sizeable chunk of GHG emissions, any successful, long-term global solution to climate change will have to address livestock. And that could include lab-grown meat.
