Michael Shoemaker is an associate at Malk Sustainability Partners. He is an experienced sustainability specialist focused on supply chain management, eco-efficient business solutions and corporate sustainability reporting.

Michael Shoemaker is an associate at Malk Sustainability Partners. He is an experienced sustainability specialist focused on supply chain management, eco-efficient business solutions and corporate sustainability reporting. At MSP he authors sustainability benchmark studies and market assessments for information technology companies.

Prior to joining MSP, Shoemaker mapped products’ greenhouse gas footprints at Source 44, a supply chain sustainability management firm. His focus on sustainability originated while working at the Roberts Environmental Center, a research institution endowed by KKR co-founder George Roberts, where he evaluated the transparency of corporate sustainability reports. As an REC consultant, he worked with International Rectifier Inc. to benchmark their sustainability reporting practices and develop recommendations for continual progress. At 3e Co., Shoemaker spent time researching regulations pertinent to medical waste recycling and Material Safety Data Sheet management.

Shoemaker holds a B.A. in economics and international relations from Claremont McKenna College. He studied abroad at Universidad de Santiago de Chile, where he focused on the political, economic and social transformation of Chile.
