Mike Loch is the Director, Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility for Motorola Solutions Inc. He is responsible for Motorola’s Global Supplier Corporate Responsibility Program.
Mike Loch is the Director, Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility for Motorola Solutions Inc. He is responsible for Motorola’s Global Supplier Corporate Responsibility Program. Mike is on the Governance Committee of the Public Private Alliance for Responsible Minerals Trade.
Mike served on the Board of the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI), and Co-chairs the GeSI and EICC Extractives Work Group that have developed the Conflict Free Smelter Program and Conflict Minerals Reporting Template. Mike has been active in the development of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance on Conflict Minerals. He has participated in numerous meetings with U.S. Government officials including the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), US State Department, Government Accountability Office, US Agency for International Development. and the Congressmen who sponsored section 1502 of Dodd Frank.
During his trips to the DRC and Rwanda, Mike was able to visit mine sites, trading houses, NGO’s and regional governmental representatives to gain a local perspective of the issues on the ground. Mike continues to work with numerous stakeholders including the US State Department, NGOs and Central African governmental entities to try to improve the conditions on the ground. Mike is a graduate of Montana College of Minerals Science and Technology.
