Previously, he was president and CEO of Siemens Corporate Research, one of several Siemens Corporate Technology innovative research centers worldwide. SCR's cutting-edge technologies are found in products and solutions across all Siemens sectors.
Before joining SCR, he headed the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industry business for Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. Paul also led the Process Automation Systems business and founded the Industrial Software business for Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. Before joining Siemens, he managed industrial metering, relaying and discrete automation businesses.
Paul is a member of the advisory board at the University of California-Berkeley's College of Engineering and the advisory council of the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and he serves on the Siemens Foundation board.
He is a graduate of Lehigh University and successfully completed the Siemens Advanced Management Program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
