Quentin Marchais has international experience in research, inclusive finance and project management in Europe, Africa and Latin America. He recently obtained an MSc at University College London in Environment and Sustainable Development with a Distinction. His dissertation focused on biodiversity conservation in urban areas using Cape Town as a case study. Before that he was managing operations of a large team in the microfinance sector in Namibia. During his career, he also did internships at the African Trade Insurance Agency in Kenya and at the Renewable Energy Division of the International Energy Agency where he worked on energy access and solar energy. He speaks French, Spanish and some Portuguese. He also holds an MSc in Management and Finance from University Paris Dauphine.
