Vijay Sudan is Executive Director of Social Impact at 21st Century Fox, the world's premier portfolio of cable, broadcast, film, pay TV and satellite assets reaching nearly 1.8 billion subscribers in more than 50 local languages every day including FOX, FX, Fox News Channel, Fox Sports, National Geographic Channels, STAR; film studio Twentieth Century Fox Film; and television production studio Twentieth Century Fox Television. It is home to some of the most iconic and enduring film and television properties in history including Die Hard, The Sound of Music, Star Wars, X-Men, Alien, The Simpsons, 24, The X-Files, Homeland, Cosmos, Sons of Anarchy, The Americans, and Louie, as well as the two highest grossing films of all time, Avatar and Titanic, and the last two winners of the Academy Award for Best Picture, 12 Years a Slave and Birdman.
In his current role, Sudan leads 21st Century Fox’s corporate responsibility programs around the world. The company’s social impact efforts including everything from addressing the environmental impacts of its supply chain to promoting important causes through content to philanthropic giving and community engagement. Vijay joined News Corporation (now 21st Century Fox) in 2009 to manage the company’s industry leading environmental sustainability program and, in 2014, Vijay helped build 21st Century Fox’s current Social Impact program.
Previously, Sudan worked as a Senior Associate at Bain & Company, a leading management consulting firm, where he advised Fortune 100 companies on M&A, process improvement and supply chain strategy. His clients included companies in defense, consumer goods, retail, biotechnology and private equity.
Sudan graduated from the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts & Sciences in 2006.
