Valentina Guido is a Senior Associate with RMI (Rocky Mountain Institute), where she focuses on industrial decarbonization and supply chain responsibility, at the junction of carbon markets, equity, and traceability. At RMI's Carbon Markets initiative, she leads research on the alignment between the voluntary carbon market and the rights of Indigenous peoples and local communities. Before joining RMI in 2021, Valentina was a sustainability disclosures analyst for WBCSD's (World Business Council for Sustainable Development) Reporting Matters project. She worked at the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative within UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) as a research and communications assistant. She was also a researcher at ETH Energy Politics Group in Zürich, where she conducted foundational research on sustainable finance for the TransCap Initiative in collaboration with Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation initiative.
