As head of corporate sustainability at Bayer, Vera Hahn oversees sustainability efforts across the company’s global business. She has a long history with Bayer, joining the company as a commercial trainee after graduating from high school. Vera has held several leadership positions at Bayer, including vice president of the Polyurethanes Division and a number of management positions in finance and corporate controlling. Vera also was appointed CEO of Bayer’s Russia division, responsible for the company’s activities in Russia and CIS and leading the material business in the region. In her current role, Vera is passionate about women’s empowerment, climate action and ethics.
