Interface's Lindsay James on lessons from nature

When it comes to designing a successful organization, business leaders can glean many insights from the natural world. Nature, for example, has an incredible capacity to regenerate after disturbances occur. According to Lindsay James, VP of restorative enterprise for Interface, companies also can cultivate a seed bank to survive inevitable change. "In one word, if nature were to design an organization, it would be resilient," she said at GreenBiz Forum 2014.
