How does the data we consume and generate every day intensify the effects of climate change? From cell phones, to Facebook, Apple, Bitcoin, NFTs and beyond, we live in a data-driven society. How do the algorithms that drive these technologies condition our responses to a world where issues like climate change, computational propaganda and algorithmic bias shape and mold public discourse? This presentation, which includes a musical composition, will both inform and inspire.
