The company with 25,000 EV charging stations across the U. S. won a "Momentum for Change" award from the United Nations for its work in developing partnerships for EV charging on highways.
Still, Chargepoint CEO Pasqual Romano says that having enough highway charging stations "is the last problem to be solved to make an EV your only car" or rather to make people choose EVs as their only automobiles.
Chargepoint is working on the highway challenge while it also works on making homebuilders and apartment complex developers more interested in including EV charging as a home appliance amenity.
