General Motors' Rob Threlkeld on collaboration in corporate renewable energy procurement

Rob Threlkeld is the global renewable, regulatory and commodity supply manager for General Motors. He's leading the company’s commitment to meet the electricity needs of its global operations with 100 percent renewable energy by 2050 — and that's no easy feat. He talks about how the changing nature of energy and utilities has made collaboration all the more important to meet the renewable electrification needs of General Motors' headquarters and associated plants. He also notes the importance of renewable procurement in making sure that electric vehicles are helping cut GHG emissions in the future.
