Paul Hawken on the 100 most scalable solutions to climate change

What does it mean for a company to embrace "drawdown"? Paul Hawken, founder of Project Drawdown and editor of the new book "Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming," has a hopeful vision of companies that become agents to not just mitigate, but to reverse climate change.

How? Well, it begins with a shift in the rhetoric around climate action from one of reduction to one of creation and abundance, argues Hawken. "It's not about decarbonizing; it’s recarbonizing," he said at GreenBiz 2016. "It’s bringing [carbon] back home to where it belongs, which is here on Earth — where it came from."
