Lessons learned from working at the base of the pyramid

In a talk at the GreenBiz 16 event in Phoenix, Simpa Networks VP Rupesh Shah shares key insights from his experience bringing solar to rural farmers in Northern India. His stories illustrate how to "invest in deep customer empathy" in order to understand customer needs and values. 

"The deeper insights about customers — their lives, day-to-day realities, dreams, constraints — were far more instrumental than the product prototyping," said Shah.
