Peter Kelly-Detwiler sat down with GreenBiz Group vice president and senior analyist John Davies to talk about VERGE and the innovations being showcased at the San Francisco conference in October.
Kelly-Detwiler, the principal of NorthBridge Energy Solutions, made a point about including traditional electric utilities in the renewables revolution. If there's a winner and a loser in the innovation game, the loser may try to drag down the winner, he warned, so it makes sense to include them.
"The challenge is, they're based on volumetric sales," Kelly-Detwiler said.
