Spoken word artist Shannon Matesky, an artist, activist and educator with Youth Speaks, regaled the VERGE '14 audience with some inspiring reminders about where innovation comes from.
The innovation the world needs lies within our souls, she said. Let them find their fire.
"There are embers of change under our shoes," she said. "Stay fired with the passion for equity, for sustainability," and make change happen. "We need to reconnect with Mother Nature and relight her pilot."
