Yalmaz Siddiqui on MGM's multi-pronged approach to food waste management

MGM Resorts International brought its mobile food chiller to GreenBiz Group's annual VERGE 19 conference. The chiller is just one tool the company is using to help manage and divert its food waste. MGM uses multiple other programs to decrease its food waste. For example, in 2018, it sent 13,000 tons of food scraps to other sources — primarily to farms that used the scraps feed animals.
