Volker C. Vahrenkamp

Volker C. Vahrenkamp is a professor of earth science and engineering in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He is a specialist in carbonate geology, geochemistry and 3D reservoir modelling. He worked 30 years for Shell and has more than 19 years’ experience working with reservoirs in the region. He holds a master's degree in engineering geology from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in marine geology from the University of Miami.
