Yu-Kang Lee (Ph.D in Social Policy, University of Edinburgh, U.K.) is professor of political economy at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, where he has been a faculty member since 2005. He is head of political economy department and associate dean of College of Social Sciences.
Yu-Kang completed both his Ph.D. and Master’s Degree at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His main research interests include political advertising, political communication, charity donation behavior, compulsive smartphone usage and Green Communications. His recent research findings appear in a variety of journals such as Asian Journal of Social Psychology, Computers in Human Behavior, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Modern Asian Studies, The Social Science Journal and Psychological Reports.
